Hello Everyone,

I think I may have a problem but am not sure and am hoping the members of PN can help. We are about to change the oil and were running the engine to get it hot. Water was going thru the engine and out the exhaust which I know is normal. However, we looked underneath the boat and found that water was also exiting the boat hull at the point where the drive shaft enters the boat. Is this normal?

It is normal for a "dripless packing gland" have a look inside your boat at the shaft it will make more sense as to where the water comes from.
