My 216 bilge pump is located in the battery box and mounted to the bottom of the hull with 2 small stainless steel screws (battery box is just forward of the ski pylon). Most of the water that gets in the hull however sits just below the front of the engine. This area of the hull is about 3 inches lower there too. The bilge pump on every other nautique I have owned was located just below the front of the motor. Should I move it???

You could move the pump, but if you keep the "automatic pump" it will never empty out all the water anyway.
