ZR6 No ignition to No1 plug

Any guess on this one, 2003 SAN with PCM ZR6 engine. No spark comming out of the coil to plug. Tried to swap coils but no help, still no spark out of No. 1 coil. No check engine light, starts and runs fine just no power due to having a heavy 5 cylinder engine. Trying to find service manuals, wiring manuals or any help to trouble shoot.

Also, trying to find the OBD plug for this engine so I can pull info. Not sure if it will help because check engine light is not on so probably no codes to pull. Any help would be greatly appreciated......

No OBD plug unless you have a Diacom device.

I guess I can stop looking for that plug now. Thanks for the link to the manuals. Does anyone know if shop manuals can be purchased? Any good troubleshooting ones on line?

For those to follow, solved the problem, bad spark plug. Sounds simple, but I was not getting any spark from the coil as indicated by an induction timing light. Old school that means failure of whatever is producing a spark for that particular engine. With newer ECU's (engine control units) apparently can determine if the spark plug has incorrect resistance and prevents it from sending a spark signal. I guess this prevents damage to the ECU. Anyway, once the spark plug cable was unhooked from the plug the ECU stard to send a spark signal. Changed plug, problem solved.
