Steering rack shaking

HELP??? when we take off all bags full 8 peeps wakeboarder in water , go to take off my rack shakes real bad ??
if i only have a couple peeps,bags full it doesnt seam to do it ???

My steering would only shake under load which was due to prop damage (even though it was very slight). you may not even visibly be able to see damage. New prop = problem fixed.

Yep, I had the same issue on another boat, and it was indeed related to the prop.

Oh, i cant believe it !!!!! We keep our 220 in dry storage and i guess one of the fork lift operators accidentally hit the bottom of the rack . I knew we had not hit anything so thats why i didnt put two & two together !! YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT !!!!! I went down and looked at her today at lunch , small chunk out of our prop !!! We have family in town and rented a big house on lake norman nc so we had to next day air one in from MI. GREAT CALL GUYS !!!!!!!

I learned from fellow PN members telling me their thought when I had my problem. And they were right. Glad I could pass along the expertise I gained from here.

new prop installed , no shake rattle or roll !!! YIPPIE !!!!

Gasman, was it doing it Sunday am? Or did it happen later? If it was doing it in the morn. I sure couldn't tell...

i never felt it when we surfed only when we wakeboard ??? fixed now !!!!

Glad it was only the prop. be sure to maybe get your old one balanced and keep a spare around
