So last weekend out in my '02 super air I found I had water coming in (I assume from the deck/hull joint). Water was running down the passenger side of the boat by the cup holders. This only happened when heavily loaded and making tight left-hand turn at the end of our line (much tighter than normal due to a narrow cove at the end of our line).
I know I've seen others here have the same issue, but have not been able to find the resolution. I assume the easy fix is find the offending area and seal it from the backside with caulking of marine sealant. So my question is, is this the proper fix? If you have done this, have you had to re-apply the patch? Would removing the entire rub-rail and inspecting / repairing the joint form the outside be be overkill?
