Front Lift Ring Loose (94 Sport)

I have a 1994 Sport Nautique. We bought it last summer. Anyways, the front lift ring is loose. So my question is , how do I get to it, to fix it? THe wrap around piece in the front seems like it wont come off without major demolition. Any help would be great.

ok I'm not very sure of this, however, at the center of the splash is there a "flap" of vinyl with the CC logo on it? if so you should be able to move it to one side and see a hole in the vinyl behind it where a screw is securing it to the deck. You may have to look around the area because I'm not sure of this but the securing of the splash works something like this. Finding the hole is easy, finding the screw is another issue

Once you get the splash off there should be a large access hole for you to tighten down the lift ring.
