08 Super Air 230 TE Starting Problem

Recently while I was out riding the 20A starter fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and now I cannot get the power on the console to switch on. I enter my keyless code press start and get one light, but when I press start again the second light does not turn on, I don't get power to the console, the horn doesn't work, none of the smart pod accessories work (i.e. bilge, horn, lights), etc. Any Ideas? Anyone have a schematic available or know where to get one?

    Thanks,

Anyone have the schematic for the starting system? I have traced a couple of things and have noticed a relay under the console w/ for wires labeled PME is hot and don't think is normal?

OK ... replaced relay under the console (from the PME) and everything is back to new. I think the cause was when starting the boat my wife would hold the "start" button in thus causing continued flow of energy and through the starting wiring until the motor was running. I believe this eventually arched the relay.

If anyone has any comments regarding if they agree with my diagnosis.

      Thanks

        Not so fast

Well ... I thought it was resolved and this weekend the same issue occurred. I called and talked with my Nautique dealer and they are going to check the keypad. It is very odd as alls you have to do is cut PME power and sit tight for several minutes and then turn back on and it self correct. I even installed the old relay and it works too.

Anyway I will post back here once I have the results of the keypad test from the dealer.

Well key pad was good. Nautique dealer suggested I make a new ground cable over the weekend I removed and cleaned all grounds (block to frame, battery to block, bus strip for electronics, etc) I drove around for a couple hours and no problems. It is surprising as I did not see anything like corrosion that would have caused a problem, but so far so good.
