12 V outlet in glove box

The 12 V outlet in the glove box acted dead even though the others worked and there was no trip in the fuse under the dash -- am I overlooking something (I also presses the 12v button on the helm pod)??

Mine came wired backwards at the plug, hot to ground and vice versa. Might want to check that.

Best guess is to check the wiring under the glove box. The cigarette style plug for the wiring in my boat came unplugged when I was checking some speaker wiring. If all other plugs are working it has to be wiring ... on my boat all of these plugs are in series.
