    water in oil

I guess a couple of questions to maybe help

    1. water in the oil is usually a milky whitish color - kind of "bubbly", not just brown-definite separation of water and oil on the dipstick and in the oil drain pan - did you have this?
    2. did you change the oil the last time around?
    3. how long since last oil change?
    4. have you or anyone else (if you bought used boat by chance) added oil since last change for any reason - dealer??
    5. how often do you check the oil level?

if the oil is just "brown" you may have normal color aging of the oil but was just over filled in the crankcase

water in oil..no power loss no overheat no loss of oil pressure

i change oil every 50 hrs, but today removed spark plugs and one side plugs are wet at the tip so water ingress into my engine probably. Compression test normal.
removed drain plug on exhaust manifold and signs of metal corrosion in the drained water, so maybe manifoldshas small crack in it and water leaking into engine

mechanic says i need to replace exhaust manifolds and elbow and hope for the best if

anybody experienced this. i use my boat in salt

      thanks
