    Winterize 2004 ss210

I found some great instructions on winterizing on the planet however I need pictures with arrows as to where these plugs are. On my 1972 CC its easy. On this boat I only found the manifold plugs. Where are the two block plugs, heat exchanger, circulation pump, and oil cooler?

DO you have a heater? Shower? Do you have closed cooling ? You don't need to worry about the circ pump, but it is bolted on the front of the block. Your RWP should be on an arm on the port side, way in the back. There will be a pulley on it. That is where your impeller goes.

A Chevy motor will likely have the port side plug being used by the knock sensor. That will be towards the front , below the exhaust. My BB has a plug aft of that a few inches. If you have a heater, that is likely using the starboard drain hole.
The water comes into the boat from the thru hull, passes through your strainer, then the trans cooler, then to your RWP, circ pump, block, intake, thermostat, then exhaust.

Remove and empty strainer. Take the hose of the trans cooler (cylindrical about 10 inches long), pull the knock sensor carefully (or plug) on the port side, pull the hose or plug on the starboard side, remove both exhaust plugs. You will get a couple gallons at least that will drain out. Also, remove the other heater hose, if applicable, and blow all the water out both ways , or you won't have a heater core come spring.

    Re install everything.

Remove the hose on the output side of the strainer, and get a piece of heater hose a few feet long and clamp that over the strainer output hose. Get a 5 gallon bucket and fill with 4 gallons of RV antifreee. Take a fifth gallon and pour it down the hose to prime it as it may or may not suck when empty (mine doesn't like to) start the engine and allow it to pump all the AF out of the bucket. Turn her off and kiss her goodnight for 5 months.
If it doesn't start sucking right away, shut it off and prime the hose more.

You'll get a much better view if you remove the hatch support braces on each side of the engine bay and pull out the side walls. Then you'll clearly see the block drain plug and knock sensor.
