I really feel stupid now.. I have read every thread on the forum and studied the PCM manual. I thought for sure that this would be a breeze, but nope!... Fifteen minutes into it and I am confused.
Here's what i got - 2008 211 w/ 343 excaliber
I located the knock sensors on each side (2 of them in the same position on the engine block where everyone stated they were located), even read the yellow sticker wrapped around the wire connected to it. It stated, "This is the knock sensor.... needs to be removed for winterization...."
I backed them out and antifreeze from the engine pours out. I made sure that it was antifreeze from the engine and quickly replaced it. This was supposed to be raw water, am i right??
I really thought I could successfully complete this is a couple of hours, but i am stuck.
Hopefully you guys can shine some light on this and other locations to drain the raw water. I located the V-drive and heat exchanger plugs, but the manual is just confusing me the more I look at it
Please help, as I will have to continue tomorrow....I am out of daylight.
