ok I have a 08 SAN 210 that I winterized last week. It's the 343PCM raw water model. Everything went smooth but I see several references to people draining their v-drive and their tranny cooler. I swear there is no transmission cooler on my boat. Can anyone help me out with this?

There is a transmission oil cooler on your boat. Follow the raw water pickup hose all the way from the hull, through the strainer, and everything. You might have to look on the front of the engine, or the back, or on either side. There is a lot of hose in between the raw water pickup, and the raw water pump. The transmission oil cooler is somewhere in that hose.

Found it
Ok after the hint from DanielC and tracing the oil lines off the tranney I was able to find the oil cooler. Its not at all what I expected(looks like a piece of metal pipe with a drain plug ofcourse) and on my boat you can't tell that there are oil lines connected to the back of it unless you REALLY REALLY look! Anyway I had already drained it assuming it was just another location to drain the raw water from the intake hose and impeller housing. Thanks much.

On the Walter's V-drive there should be raised lettering indicating "water drain". If you are looking directly at the V-drive, it should be located in the middle towards the port side. I know it is a standard size, but I used an 11mm small wrench. It does not look like a typical drain plug and has a square shape to it.

The 2008 would have the PCM v-drive in stalled. The large plug at the center lowest rear part of the unit is the water drian. the only way to remove oil is to siphon out thru the the two add plugs. There is a diagram in the owners manual showing these.
