    need parts resource

Hi, I had an unfortunate accident with my tower falling forward and landing directly on the stainless steel grab rails of my "99 Air. Very lucky, however, that it didn't even touch the gelcoat, just bent the grab rails. My local dealer simply will not get back to me after numerous requests to have them ordered. Does anybody have any suggestion?

    Thanks,
    Mike

            grab rails

No I didn't. Talked to Dave and he worked on it for me with no luck from the factory. Don’t know what to do at this point. Hard to believe these aren't available since they were pretty standard for many years/models of Nautique after '99. Any more ideas would be great.
            Thanks.

I guess just have them fabricated at a tuna tower shop. Might have to change material.

I would just buy some tubing and bend it yourself you should all ready have the end fittings so loosen the set screws pull out the bad piece and use the otherside as a template and make a new one exactly like the old one, they are interchangable now if it's the style that just has the tubing with a stud on the ends buy a new one from west marine and call it a day, pretty easy fix actually

Please give me a call. I might have access to the rails. I will need the length of the rails.

                    Grab rails

Not following you exactly Impact. If I remember correctly, the grab rails are one piece and curved with a stud/flange that is welded, not set screwed. Then a nut fastening it under the gelcoat. Is the stud is inserted and set screwed into the tube sleeve on the underside? The boat is stored 2 hours from my home, so I don't have the exact measurement from stud center to stud center. Can anyone help with the measurment if they have a model Nautique with these rails? Thanks again for everybody's help.
