2003 SAN - Ballast issues

Hey all,
I have a couple of issues with my 03 SAN. Any feedback / tips would be great

1. The Starboard rear tank gauge alwase reads part full even when empty.? Wiring issue.???

2. The starboard tank fill system seems to be blocked as the pumps work, but the tank doesn't fill. What's the best way to unblock.?

3. My rear tanks are the flat non wedge shape. how much do these hold.???

Hey Chopper,

1- sounds like a level sender issue, if you un-plug the sender the guage should read empty, then short the two wires together the guage should read full. if it does this your sender is faulty.

2-not sure about the best way to un-block, but make sure your handle on the ball valve is tight, so its not spinning without operating the valve. or if the pump sounds like its operating but not pumping the plastic drive/impellar may be broken off etc.

3- i think they are 410lbs (185kg)

2 - You may just have an airlock in the fill lines. Try turning on the pump while moving at about 10-15 MPH. I sometimes have to do this to mine.

Just serviced my pumps and found the inner part was spun out, you should look at the impellers just to be sure before you dig deeper

I don't have impellers as such. I have the aerator style.
