Trailer brake estimate

Any idea on what new brakes on a tandem drum would cost installed or parts?

i would say around 5 hours total

My local dealer sales the entire brake assembly (pads, springs, backing plate, everything) for about 100. All you have to do is take the tire off, unbolt your old setup, bolt the new one on, bleed brakes........VERY easy and doesn't take much time at all

you will still need to adjust the drums also
and repack the bearings

Yeah, back when I did mine, I just replaced the bearings and packed with new grease.
