Looking for a picture of a Ram-Lin trailer winch

Looking for a picture of a Ram-Lin trailer winch. I have a 2002 trailer and I am thinking about adding a winch to the crash pad support.

        11 Ramlin Trailer winch

Here's my '11. I'm not sure how much different the bow stop is from an '02.

              Dave,
Couple of questions. Can you tell what type of winch you have? Also, how wide is the opening that the strap goes through? I'm assuming a 2" strap, correct? It looks like the square tubing is cut and filled back in and ground smooth. I could do that to mine, but the opening might be less than 2" wide then. David

That's how Ramlin does it and the 2" wide strap doesn't fit without rubbing. Mine has worn slightly and I launch 2 to 3 times per week from march to october. I'm not worried...but if I go to Canyon this year....I'll be sure to change it. There are some pretty steep ramps there.

OK, how about a structural question The metal thickness of the square support of mine is 3/16". Is this what is standard for Ram-Lin? I had another thought of cutting the support and welding on some material to the sides to bridge the gap. I could have a full 2 1/2" then.

The winch strap is considerably wider than the opening, but they boxed in thie opening on both sides, top, and bottom. They also smoothed the edges. There is no name on the winch, I am guessing it is the same brand as the tougue jack, Fulton.

Here is the finished product. Couldn't have done it without my friend Dave's help. Thanks buddy.

The wheels are from grainger, they are rated for 1500 lbs. each. All the rest was done from scratch. I think it came out really nice and it is very functional.Click image for larger version
