What year, and model of boat?

Good thing you mentioned ballast, and nav lights. Al least we know you are talking about a wake board boat.

      This link will help

The dash gauges are on a different circuit (Faria Gateway Box) to the ballast guages.
This old thread will assist: http://www.planetnautique.com/vb3/sh...ht=dash+lights

Thanks for the old thread i did find that plug today with the blue wire, it seems fine but i will need to go and test the wire for voltage tomorrow, hopefully this will solve the problem.

        Thanks again.

Hi Gags, I tested the blue wire at the gateway box, its reading 12 volt! I assume that this means the problem could be within the box itself?

I was in white lake marine's website but cant find the gateway box or the cost of one.

do you know if the box can be opened, or is it a sealed unit?

I would appreciate any help with the above,

Did you check all the plugs and ensure they were all fully inserted? I had the same problem and the connection was not fully seated when the gateway was replaced by the dealer.

My Gateway was replaced once because water backed up through the pitot's during layup, apparently the pitot's are/where supposed to self drain and did not, thus they froze and forced moisture back up onto the circuit board in the gateway. Since then I always remove my gateway during layup.

                Hey Mjp,
I am assuming from your description that you checked the blue wire at pin number 3 with the nav lights on? Is this correct? If so and you had 12v at the blue wire than your gateway box is most probably working as intended.
With this in mind you need to check continuity of the "blue wire circuit." Start at the plug as Quinner suggested (as this is the most probable cause) and work your way back to the dash.
