    gt40 fuel lines

    i had to move my fuel pump to make my fresh water cooling kit fit and i forgot which fuel line went to which hose barb. there is a big canister and small one. one hose has red tape, one doesnt, if anyone could take a look at theirs and tell me i would be so happy!! thank you

    In my old thread you can kind of see that fuel line with the red tape in the 4th picture. Maybe that will help. I'm not by my boat so I can't go check.

      From talking to my dealer's service tech, the red tape doesn't necessarily have meaning unless you can correlate it with the line on the top of the gas tank. He has seen some return lines marked with red tape and some feed lines marked with red tape. While it's typically the return, that's not always the case with these boats handmade by humans.

        i figured it out, just hooked them up and the boat wouldnt run, switched them and it would run

          Did you put the red tape hose on the low pressure fuel pump, or on the FCC fitting?
