    west system

man this is some nice stuff....i had a small hole in the bottom of my battery box on my 82 2001.. so i went and got some west system resin and hardner and white pigment today and used some old cloth i had and glassed the bottom of the box to keep water out....that stuff is really nice and easy to work with. i had some battery issues last summer with I belive the stereo draining the battery so i guess from dropping batteries in and out of the box one of the corners of a battery must have busted a hole in the box.....

yes i know im ready for a stringer job by now im sure but i figured this winter wasnt the winter for it so i might as well keep out any extra water penetration till next winter.. at least i feel a little more confident with using this stuff that next winter i will def tackle my stringers.

one question about my last project which is alignment...should i do it in the water or is it ok to do it on the trailer in my warm garage? let me know

I've used the US composites epoxy with great results. it's much less $$ than West system.

Overall, ANY epoxy resin is easier to use than polyester FG.
