Hey all. I have a 2000 SAN with the keyless ignition. Last year while out on the water, I couldn't shut the boat off with the keypad, had to use the kill switch once I got it on the trailer. I have ordered a new keypad, but was wondering if anyone out there can point me in the right direction for wiring in an emergency key system should this ever happen again. I know which wires to jump to get the fuel pump to run, and for the starter, I am just wondering what color in the harness runs the dash power so all the gauges work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I actually wired a keyed ignition for emergency starting and engine cutting on the engine side of both the keyless pad and the skill switch in case either fails at any point. I will send pictures when I get boat uncovered for next weeks lake trip.

my keyless pad is dying as well. I may just go to autozone and get a simple switch for the ignition and a spring-loaded push start switch for the starter. should only be 3 wires.....positive from battery, starter wire and ignition wire. The positive from the battery will need to split to feed both the ignition switch and the push button switch for starter. I just did it on my 1100 cc dune buggy which has an ECM, fuel pump, efi etc
