    I am not 100 % sure on what wires are loose. I am hoping for your sake, someone more familiar with the GM engine chimes in.

      I'm not certain, but the connector wire with the soft green boot may be the one that you connect to the distributor to set the timing. If I remember right, on the GM motors you connect it to the distributor and connect the wire coming out of it to either ground or to +12v (better check to make sure!!!)

        I had the same problem

        I have a 2002 SANTE and I had the same problem last year. I checked everything A-Z from fuses to connections to battery etc. I Even tried boosting it directly from my brothers truck. ALl my guages were perfect like yours.

        Before i got everything winterized they checked into for me at the dealership and it happened to be corrosion in the cable close to the battery that I coulnt see. I guarantee you its simply a connection issue somewhere or something in the cable.

        Have a look and let me know what you see
