I realize this thread is old, but I found the same issue this weekend when I started up the GT40 for the first time on my 98 Air. I've already contacted White Lake and found this at www.skidim.com > http://www.skidim.com/KIT-FCC-PASS-T...info/RF121085/ but not sure if it will work... Any other suggestions is appreciated.

Had the same problem on my 2002 SN GT40. Took it to the local repair shop. Their fix did not work either. Ended up purchasing a new FCC unit - the new type with the clamp on it. Now I have a very heavy-duty strap wrench for sale.
Sold the leaking FCC unit to a person in Indiana that builds engines. He said he knew how to seal the wires.

Leak Fix
I am having the same issue with the fuel leaking out of the top of the FCC in my 2001 SAN with Ford GT-40. I am looking at putting in the repair kit (RF121085) as well as changing out the fuel filter and O-ring for the FCC. Has anyone done this that can give me some details on how complicated it is? The filter and O-ring I feel will be easy and the wiring on the repair kit looks simple enough but any insight will be helpful.
Thanks.

I agree, I am trying to get it fixed before the season starts but the closest PCM tech is several hours away and I don't have that much time to commute there and back. I think it can be done myself, I would just like to speak to someone who has done it before. I would prefer no engine fires!
