New Nautique digital cruise

Does anyone have experience with the latest standard digital cruise? Does it work similar to the other speed control systems; ie punch in the speed and the engine maintains as long as the throttle is passed the select speed point. Or, does is work like the older std cruise, where you engage it once the desired speed is reached, like a car?

Has anyone used nautique digital cruise? Is it paddle wheel based? How does it compare with pp with paddle wheel? If you replace cruise with zero off do you lose depth, temp etc?

I was wondering this myself; what is the difference between Nautique Digital Cruise and the Zero-Off? They appear to have the exact same interface.

Seems to me that the difference is the number of GPS receivers on the boat. The non pp version has one and the pp version has 2 for dual reading and more accurate reading.

Ok I found out that the Nautique Digital Cruise is paddlewheel based. So what I'd really like to know if how the accuracy compares to the Zero-Off.
