    Changing the Oil

Guys, I have left my owner's manual at my lakehouse and I need to change the oil in my boat which is in my toy shop.

    I have an 09 SANTE 230 w/ the 6.0L 409

Can anyone tell me how much oil, which viscosity, and synthetic or not?

    Thanks!

p.s. is there a best way to change the oil?

Firstnthing to do is look at your manual to double check any answers you receive here. Should be a label for what type of oil, but typically 15w-40 and synthetic is ok. U shouldnhave a drain house from oil pan that runs out stern bilge hole, or use a PELA pump. I'm guessing 4-5qts of oil. This info is definitely easily found out in the manual ornby calling your or any dealer.

I confirmed it for you mi amigo. Above 50 degrees/15w40....below 50 degrees 5w30. Dino or synthetic. Synthetic is not necessary, and there's all kind's of opinion's on that, but it won't do any harm, that's the only important aspect.
