Alternator Quick Question

I have a 2001 SAN that I am currently doing spring cleaning to and maintenance. I removed the alternator to check the bearing and it is still good. While I knew better, I assumed the two smaller connections were different sizes so that I did not need to mark or remember which wire went where.....Unfortunately my memory has dissipated! I know where the large wire goes, but the other two wires are the question. Can anyone help?

What engine do you have?

I have the Ford 5.8.

This should be a Mando alternator. The small green wire should go to the terminal marked exc and the black wire to the alternator case terminal marked E
