    Impellar change help?

Can someone tell me which impellar I need for my 2005 SANTE 210 330? I refuse to pay the stealership $150 to change it for me. (I really miss my Oklahoma dealership).

Also, anyone have a good set of instructions? I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Ah yes! The inherent extras when ownng a v-drive!

PCM Part # for that impeller is RPO61022. PCM suggested price is $34.65.

The time consuming issue with your application is that their is not enough room between the mufler and the pump to just pop the front of the pump housing out and install a new impeller like on a direct drive. We have done this two ways. Loosen the muffler from the exhaust hoses and move the muffler back or remove the complete pump assy from the motor and change the impeller on the bench. either way it is time consuming. $150.00 to do your impeller is actually rather cheap considering the time involved.
      Good Luck!

If you take the pump out, be sure to mark it somehow so you know which way to put it back in.

They pretty much made this pump stupid proof! It will only go on one way.

I don't have to do any of that on my '05 SANTE. It takes about 5-10 min to change the impeller. There is just enough space to pull the pump cover and pull the impeller.

I've never really paid attention to the belt - the boat is in storage right now, but I intend to get it out next week. Since it is an '05, is it safe to assume that it is a serpentine belt?

BTW...water temperature approaching 50 degrees in Denver...getting very near my 2 rules:

              1) Water + Air = 100 degrees or greater
              2) Neither can be less than 50

Snowboarding and Wakeboarding in the same week!!

As with Shunoff - I don't have this issue. It really is a 5 minute job to change the impellor in an 05 210 with the 330 Excal.

Are you talking about Thomas Marine in Checotah? I love those guys - they have been terrific to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another boat from them (even living in Colorado). As a matter of fact, my parents are trying to buy one from them right now.

Boat & RV World...now that's a different story (no wonder they are out of business).

Thanks for everyone's help. It really was a 10 minute job. Just for peace of mind, though - I want to make sure I put the new impellar in correctly. (I should have paid better attention when I took the old on out.) The engine actually spins clockwise, which makes the water pump spin counter-clockwise (serpentine belt). So, when I put in the new impellar, I turned it counter-clockwise (the same way as the water pump). Correct?

BTW...the dealership has since told me that it is a $150 job because the backflow the waterpump and check the thermostat to make sure everything is working and the waterpump and lines are clear. My old impellar looked pretty good, so i don't see any need to do all that. Anyone else do this?

Any news on impeller rotation? Standing facing the stern, would it rotate clockwise(fins bend left) or would it rotate counter clockwise(fins bend right?

Go back to my impeller procedure. The rotation is shown by the arrow on the blue masking tape.
