If you are not familiar with the firing order mark the wires before you start or change them one at a time.

Before you start make sure the #1 wire is still going to the #1 post as marked on your diagram.

Remind me what engine you have and year.

Take digital photos before you disassemble.

If you have the vortec and the distributor housing is plastic, don't break of the ear the screws go in...you'll be replacing the distributor. On the vortec crab cap, the firing order and placement of the wires / tower location is not the same...if you know what I mean.

Load up the wires with silicone grease (both ends). Twist after installation to smear it around.

I've got Excalibur 330. Got new PCM plug wires and they are numbered so that makes things easier. I was going to pick up some die electric grease and anti seize in the am. Forgot today. 55$ for 8 ac 41 101 iridium plugs at az. Ayone know what tools are needed to change cap and dist? Also, if any sSpark plug universals or ext. Let me know if u remember.
