    Odd electrical issue Maybe???

So its spring and I need some help getting the ol' 92 up and running in tip top shape. So I have done the upgrade from the pro tec ignition to a mallory distributor and its run much better since however an issue arose towards the end of last season.

After the boat is warmed up (run for 20min or more) it will do one of two things. Either when you try to turn it off..it won't...just keeps running and I have to disconnect the wiring to the distributor to kill it. OR it will turn off then will not turn back on...No click, no nothing when you turn the key. I have replaced the key ignition twice in the last year and a half.

Not sure were to look now. Any educated guesses for me?

Thanks guys, your the best...just wish one of you lived in Va Beach

I know I didn't stump the grand poobah's around here....At least hazard a guess for me...I'm naive enough to try anything so you could even have some fun with me if you were looking for a laugh...but after the laugh you gotta gimme a legitimate guess

Sounds like a relay sticking somewhere. I have read somewhere in here that some ignitions are run through a relay that is controlled by the key switch. Could be that the fire to the dist is run through a relay?
