    warranty void

I was interested in installing this system but was told by correct craft that it would void my warranty........be careful if installing this system in a newer boat still under warranty.....

Nice job. You must be itching to get that baby in the water and test it out. No offense, but I am soooo happy I moved from Wisconsin to Texas. Now, if we could just get some rain and get our lake levels back up...

Haha... we just use the snow melt and some dry suits! The river and lakes are overflowing! Just Kidding.. yeah, definitely want to get it out on the water (for the first time).. I just bought the boat in Oct and put it in storage! I drove it for 5 minutes when I bought it from the dealer then drove it 14 hours home and into storage. Ps.. the weather SUCKS out here.. snow today@!@!

Since the warranty was void on this 95 about 10+ years ago, I wasnt too worried about installing and drilling 4 holes... (well the hole drilling I was).. but anyway.. I would imagine if you do an install like this on a newer boat... better check the warranty issue. but most new boats come with factory ballast systems already installed, so there really isnt any need to do a hard install like this on a newer boat. But then there is always the tsunami pump option and dont drill anything.... or maybe you could just do some add-on bags and plumb into the existing system. Either way, check the warranty issue if you still have one active. AND HAVE SOME FUN!

I was in Iowa over the weekend and experienced most of the storm (albeit no snow where I was). My peeps in Wisco tell me that your lakes are high, as is the lake I was at in Iowa. Send us some of that water! It's 90 degrees here today. We can actually use that water.

I don't think there are many (if any) new boats that have ballast systems that allow as much weight as most riders want. Even with a $100k boat, one is forced to manually add or piggyback and either way probably technically voids the warranty. If you sink your boat with 3k of manual ballast, I'm sure that you have technically voided your warranty. The only difference is that if you drilled holes in your boat, the evidence is obvious. So, just use all or mostly water ballast so you only swamp and don't sink.

Oh nice, I am over by Lake Geneva, but go to School in Oshkosh. And it is currently a blizzard outside and suppose to get 5 inches of snow...

I know! Hopefully you get some time in your new boat soon! Congrats on the purchase! I was hoping to get out this week or weekend but I dont know about that anymore! But Lake Geneva is fun, but stay away on the weekends! It gets crazy. I only go out early weekday mornings and its awesome as long as the weather is good! not a ton of sailboats but they sometimes gather and take over ha.
I live on a Lake Elizebeth, (part of Twin Lakes) and its usually pretty quiet.
