    Can an SE model be converted to an LE

    Can you convert a keyed boat to a keyless ? I would like to have the keyless ignition pad on my 2008 196 SE, just wondering if it could be done or if anyone has done it.

    Hey Brian congrats on your new boat! It would cost several thousand $$$. You would need a gateway box, new speedo, tach, key pads & etc. I'm not aware of it ever being done.

        I have never had my key fail.

        even in my old Jeep, it broke off in the ignition and you could still get it running.
