6.0 With no spark please help

I have a 05' sv 211 te,I just put a new short block in and the motor turns over but I have no spark. I sent the ecm off to pcm they said it works fine so I checked the three 20 amp fuses on top of the motor and I checked panel in foot well and three relays and all looks good I also checked safety lanyard ,does any one have any Ideas? please help

How can the motor turn over if there is no spark? Do you mean that the starter is cranking but the engine does not turn over?

Do you have battery voltage at the ignition coil, or coils with the key on?
      Start with that.

yes the starter turns the motor and it has no spark.I sent the ecm to pcm they said the ecm works fine so Im waiting for them to send it back and then I will check the ignition wires. would a bad sensor (crank sensor, etc ) cause it to not spark? on my starter there is the main lug from +batt and a smaller lug on each side that the safety switch/ solenoid "yellow/red wire" but there is not a 's' on either side, but the starter works fine
could it be a bad keyless ignition switch? please let me know

Is your center plug on your distributor pluggged in all the way? Is your distributor grounded fully? Are you getting juice at the distribotor?

If those are all correct, and working you should get a spark. If not, then you may have a relay or solonoid that is stuck, or not wireed tightly or grounded wrong that prohibits the ignition firing for some reason. A voltmeter would be your best friend right now.

A bad crank sensor will kill spark. Not saying that is your problem, but it is in the mix. If it cant read where the crank is, it will not allow spark output.

Probably a crank sensor. The 6.0 has distributorless ignition so the ECM commands each coil to fire at the proper time based on input from the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor. I think the motor will still run without the cam sensor but it will be in waste spark mode and will probably light the MIL. I say this because the 5.0/5.7 with MEFI 4 will run with the the cam retard way out of whack and I expect that the 6.0 behaves similarly. They run poorly but they run in this condition. If you need more info I have a copy of the Crusader MEFI 4 manual, the info is nearly identical that in the PCM manual. I will be happy to email it if you are interested.

is it the same crank sensor that a 6.0 (Escalade) car uses or do I have to get it from PCM does any one know?

I found it had a bad crank sensor
                      just like you said

                      thanks very much

Were you able to use an automotive sensor or did you have to get one from PCM?
