    Squeaky belt

After reinstalling serpent. Belt it's kinda squeaky. Should I tighten the tensioner nut as tight as it will go? As of now it's just snug enough for the washer notnto jiggle.

It just needs to be a quarter to half turn past snug and will have no effect on belt squeak.

If your belt squeaks, that's another issue.

Check your tensioner, sons when bad on his 2004 super air, replaced everything fine now, we thought and look at every thing else to find the squeak.

The tensioner is spring loaded and self adjusting. You cannot tighten or apply more pressure with the bolt. If you look at the tensioner, there is an indicator showing were the belt should be. Is yours in that area? Did you use the PCM belt?

Put some soap on it. Very old trick, and if your tensioners are not over tightened this should do the trick

Correct PCM serp belt routed correctly. Only started this after impeller change.
