Perfect pass display problems

On my 2001 Super air nautique it seems that the up button on the perfect pass display is stuck because while on the water yesterday the target speed shot up to 80 mph and kept going. I pushed the up button to see if it was stuck and it did not appear to be. I then just unplugged the display. Could this be an internal problem in the display? Could it be something in the actual smart timer? Anything will help

Call perfect pass, their customer service department is excellent. Otherwise, depends on the model, sensors, etc. PP will be able to trouble shoot it most likely
