    2007 Nautique/PCM Won't Start ; Fuel Guages won't read

I've got a 2007 216TE with PCM engine. Went skiing this AM & boat started up just fine. Went to start it for evening ski & wouldn't start. Area dealers are closed for the rest of the weekend now.

When I hit the start button, the engine tries to start, but I get no spark.
Battery was replaced two weeks ago + it sounds strong/charged.
I've checked the kill lanyard & it is plugged in.

I'm thinking the problem may be related to some type of computer issue.
The Fuel, Battery, Oil Pressure, etc. gauges (analog + digital versions of both) don't read anything after tapping start for a 2nd time (eg: how you can get gauges on when fueling).
Blower & Bilge pumps run good & radio also runs. Ballast tanks fill & empty & their gauges work.
I also tried hitting all the breaker buttons in front of driver seat & nothing works.

Any ideas of things to try?

I was really dreading the idea of having to use my WaveRunner to tow my Nautique 5 miles down the lake tomorrow to the dealer & then letting it potentially sit on their lot for 2-3 weeks, so I made phone calls down to CC & PCM + did additional searching on planetnautique.com

I pulled the kill switch lanyard Saturday evening, Sunday AM, and Tuesday evening & had no luck. It wasn't until I had tapped Start a 2nd time ("On Mode", but boat was completely silent) & started fiddling with the engine kill switch (and by fiddling, I mean removal of lanyard & eventually getting to the point of vigorously pressing) and I eventually heard fuel pump noises, beeps & saw gauges read. Once I got this far, hitting Start cranked the boat up w/o problem.

Sounds like I've got a faulty engine kill switch. E-mailed dealer to get me a new one. Thought I'd pass along the solution to anyone who happens to find this thread --- PN forums were my original source of figuring out how to ultimately debug the problem.
Bottom line, in addition to killing the fuel pump, the engine kill lanyard also kills the fuel/battery/etc. gauges.
