no power to boat when toggle switch moved to up position (intermittent)

I have a 2008 206 with the key pad. Was in the shop for this very problem and they supposedly replaced key pad, kill switch and the toggle switch. Problem remains as follows: when toggle is placed to the up/on position I don't get any power to put in my start code. I recycle the toggle several times and will finally get power to put in the code. The boat has also gone completely dead while at cruise (2 times) and the toggle had to be recycled again. Is this a common problem??
    Thanks
    George

It has been for many people. Not saying dont trust your shop, but I would replace the switch myself again. It is $8 at napa. I did mine even though when I ohmed it out it tested good. Hit and miss problems will often test good.

I'm thinking your dealer ripped you off.

There are many threads on the toggle. Search for mine and there are some suggested part numbers and enhancements.

I have a theory on the failure mode but haven't proved it yet.
