Team. I have a noise coming from the fuel pump area. I just had the dealer change the fuel filter. Any ideas. Also the boat is running fine.

Ethanol in the gas. Also this is the new boat and when I reviewed the service history the impeller nor filter had not been changed.
I think the is 2 pumps. One down lower Painted black and the other is the silver canister

Ethanol in the gas does not seem to affect fuel pumps here in Oregon. My 1997 Ski Nautique with a GT-40 engine has ran E-10 since it was new. It only has 2317.4 hours on it. It has not caused problems with my ski team's Twin rig, with two 200 Mariner outboard engines. It has not caused problems with any of my road driven vehicles.
Having said that, I fully believe we need to end subsidies to corn farmers to grow corn for ethanol production. Ethanol need to be a success or a failure in the marketplace, on its own, without government interference.

The LP pump is black. The HP pump is in the canister.
Ethanol has no effect on the pump.
If it is whining, there might be a fleck in the bearing or the bearings are going out.
On my small lake, I'd run it till it crashed. If I were on a big lake and or had a long drive, I'd order a new one and swap it out.
You could also check the pressure but you have no pre-whine benchmark to measure against.
