    1995 Super Sport Wet Sand

Long story short. Original owner had a bimini on the boat and had it installed right to the deck. There were 16 screw holes in the deck. I FINALLY decided to fix it. I ordered a gel coat patch kit from White Lake Marine and fixed the holes. After sanding down the areas where I filled the holes I peeled the tape away and saw how REALLY white and nice my boat was. I couldn't live with small areas that were all nice and white, buffed and polished perfect like it just came out of the mold So off I went........I taped off the boat and sanded from the rub rail up! On the spots I fixed I used 220 at first to get the gel coat down (I built it up a little high). Then I did the entire top of the boat with 400, 600, 1500 wet, and 2000 wet. Then I did compound and polish, then wax. It looks brand new and is super smooth! Here's a couple pics of it when I was sanding. I will add some finished pics later. Oh yeah, I also fixed the front bow where the previous owner hit/rubbed on something, dock/rocks who knows what. Now the front edge is all new and super smooth like a new boat! You don't realize how your old boat has faded/slightly yellowed on top until you sand an area and see how white it really can be
