    Ignition fault see dealer

I have a 2006 PCM 6.0 liter engine. Has message IGNITION FAULT SEE DEALER. Engine runs great. How can I reset this code or make it go away.

U'll need a scan tool. no other way i'm afraid. Pretty expensive tools so i'd suggest u'll want to take the boat to a dealer. How long has it been happening? My boat's been doing that on and off for many years. I'd be interested to know if you found a cause.

    Cheers

It started two months ago. I have to push two buttons on dash to make the beeping go away every 30 sec. Boat runs great. There is no OBD plug anywhere on the engine. There has got to be a way to clear this with odealerut having to take to PCM dealer, which we do not have close by.

      Thanks Rush McKelvey

Yeah, that beep'n gets annoying. Drive a small sharp screw driver into the back of the tach gauge where sound comes from. There is a little speaker there that is easy enough to 'disable'.

        Good luck

Ps. The obd connection point is directly into the throttle body. U'll have to unplug one of the 2 looms that is already there.
