1998 Air Nautique Buzzing Sound from engine after winter

    Hey guys

I am now de-winterizing my boat after a long winter, and have noticed an unfamiliar buzzing sound coming from the engine, when I turn the key to the accesory mode. It sounds similar to the bilge pump, however it wont stop unless I turn the power off. I know its not the fuel pump, because that turns off as usual.

I thought maybe it has something to do with the kill switch, however that is engaged, and in place. Any hints or tips would be much appreciated, as this is something I have never heard yet.

    Thanks!

    Solution

Well I found the solution to my own problem. The empty toggle switch was engaged for the ballast tanks. Embarrasing, but relieved.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Frequently is silly stuff that puts you down. Lanyard being number one.
