    2006 Ski 196

I recently picked up a 2006 Ski Nautique. When I first drove the boat it had low fuel and it would flash low fuel on the gauge. It is still beeping when I pull the throtle back, but is flashes red but never displays the code? The boat had a little below half a tank.

Anyone else have this issue? I'm going to try to fill the tank and see if the issue goes away. Any other ideas.

My '07 did that as well. Pushing the up and down areas simultaneously would make it stop. I then found a way to disable that feature in the Faria manual, but I forget what the process was. The manual is online for download.

      Hey Crad -

I saw this when I owned the boat and always attributed it to fuel slosh in the tank once the level starts to get below half a tank. Above half a tank it never happens... start to drop below half a tank and it shows up when you come off plane... around a quarter it alarms regularly.

The low fuel alarm in my 206 is a pain in the stern.
