Obviously you never read your manual

You don't need a spare relay...only the toggle goes bad. Probably damaged by the cable tie.

You should also turn the switch to OFF when the boat is not in use. It kills power to all the things that don't need it...like relays and the keypad.

We turn the battery switch to off when ever we're done with it.

Nope... I didn't read the manual. I didn't get one though. I asked for one and they never got me one (we bought this thing new too) so I printed one off today! It's in a binder on my desk waiting for the trip to the lake tonight... lol

While your at it, print out the manual for the cruise also...whatever brand you have. There is a bunch of info in there most would never figure out.
