I have a 98 super sport gt40 700 plus hours w an older perfect pass. Occasionally after having it in drive when I put it in neutral I get a grinding / rubbing noise (transmission). If I turn the engine off & restart - no noise everything is fine.
Doesn't grind every time and does not seem to be related to loading it down or not, has happened both after puttin' around or playing hard.
Any ideas? Had the transmission serviced last season.
Is there a vacumn advance that might be bad or sticky?
