2000 air spark issue

Got a 2000 air hasn't rain in over a year. Went through the boat replaced what was obvious blower and battery. Battery is on tight all connections clean and fuse by battery is good. No circuit breakers are tripping. Problem is when i go to crank the motor over im not getting spark. A few days ago I got spark the boat would run but as soon as I let go of the start button it would die. So i jumped out the tether switch and replaced both relays at the back of the motor just to be safe. Today when I went to crank it at first there was no spark and then when I tried again it was there. I put the boot back on fired up the boat and it was running fine, however when I went to hit the stop switch nothing, couldnt turn the boat off, so i un jumped the tether switch and still nothing. So I wound up disconnecting the coil from the distributor. I went to go do it again and no spark. I tried disconnecting the battery and tried another several times and still nothing. I need to order a new tether emergency kill switch but i'm think the problem is either a bad ground somewhere along the lines or the keypad is bad. As far as I know this is the original keypad and since the stop button would not kill the motor im wondering if it is not accepting the code to give spark and only works randomly. Any help would be appreciated
