I would like to isolate the problem with my inoperative stern bilge pump and would appreciate advice on the proper steps. I am not sure if it is an electrical issue or if the pump needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me the the best method? Thank you.

turn on the pump and use your test light to see if you have any power, if you have power check to make sure the connections are cleaned with contacted cleaner and a small brush, recheck if still no pump action I would think is needs to be replaced.If you have no power it could be the key pad switch. hope this helps it worked for me
