What are you trying to get off the vinyl? I use several products for several different issues.

Just general signs of use......the grime that sits in the creases on the seats and things like that.....just want to get the white back to white not the off white that it slowly turns into.

I have not found anything better than Malco for the vinyl. I have used it on what I thought was clean white vinyl and ended up with the water looking like chocolate milk and the vinyl and threads taking on a super bright white look. The stuff is great. I bought a spray bottle along with a gallon jug and although it is a bit pricey, it last a while. I also use 303 protectant afterwards.

Totally Awesome. Dollar General. $1 or $3 for a gallon. Dilute it a bit, maybe 3:1 water to TA for regular cleaning (or even 10:1). Use a stiff bristle brush (biggest key for any cleaner). Don't let it sit long or it can streak. Rinse/wipe down with water afterwards. 303 Aerospace protectant after that.

Note, TA is very similar to, but not identical to Malco. Both are very strong, and you should rinse vinyl after use (especially if you do not dilute). Avoid getting either in the water, as they both contain aquatic mutagens (I have read Malco moreso than TA, but both to a degree).

          Never use Magic Erasers.

If you follow the manufacturers recommendation, clean with GT Industries ZCare LVP Marine and protect with 303 Protectant.

Babes makes great products also, not 100% sure if they are "approved" however.

I have never used Z-care. I know that the last mfg. recommended product was EPHX, which cleaned slightly less well than water.

People tend to love or hate Babe's, mostly due to the foo-foo smell. From what I understand, it does clean well, although I think Malco and TA have been reported to be slightly more effective. I do not know first hand. This is just from reading many posts, including some comparisons.

Exquisite (can get on eBay) also has a big following.

I use babes vinyl cleaner for the daily/after every trip use. And use Malco twice a season(start & end of season) and follow up with Babes conditioner.

I personally won't use anything but Adams on ALL my vehicles.

www.adamspolishes.com for the store and www.adamsforums.com for their forum for help with their products or to show off your rides... We actually have a couple of Nautique owners on there.

It's a premium brand product made in the USA and the owner (ADAM) is diligent at selling only made in the USA items which IMO is huge. His microfiber is made in South Korea because there are no plants in the US.

I've honestly tried most of the "boutique" and OTC products and fell in love with these guys. Silicone and alcohol free, easy to use, 110% guarantee (and they mean it), and products that just WORK!!!

Their Super VRT (vinyl rubber and tire) protectant is the best I've used. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-512-a...-dressing.aspx It's water based (no alcohol to dry out the vinyl) and is WATER PROOF!!!! Meaning... It beads water...

Another plus for it, is it has an SPF like 303. It actually about a 40 SPF. I liked 303, but it washed off... SVRT DOES NOT!!! It lasts for quite a while.

Their interior cleaner is also great. It's strong enough to remove the black marks caused by our swim platform while not drying out the vinyl itself. I actually dilute it 50/50 with water for most cleaning duties.

I like their carpet cleaner because it doesn't suds. It just CLEANS, and man does it clean...

I'm a bit of a nut about detailing...

Remember, if it doesn't do everything they say it will do, or you're just unhappy with it. They'll give you 110% of your money back. They're not inexpensive products, but honestly... You get what you pay for and with the SVRT, a little goes a LONG way. You won't regret it.

Their waxes and polishes are all gelcoat safe as well.

Anyway... You can use coupon code dad2011 and receive 15% off for fathers day.

I just tried Totally Awesome on my bow cushions. I am very impressed with how well it works and can't wait to do the rest of the interior. I was in the "It's pretty clean" to start camp and can't believe the grime that came off! I tried it at 100% strength but will definitely dilute it in the future.

Thank Win... I just ordered some Adams carpet cleaner, which I've never heard of before your post. The video on their website looks promising, so I'll post back with my results. I like the idea of no sudsy residue.

I use 303 vinyl cleaner on my interior, then the Aerospace protector. Works great for me.

Well, I received my Adam's carpet cleaner (very quickly, I might add!), and it worked pretty well. I like the no-suds deal. If I can find it at a local store, I'll continue to use it, but I don't want to pay the extra $10 shipping next time around. I used almost the entire bottle in one cleaning, so it could get somewhat costly.

Since I keep my carpets clean to begin with, I get great results by using high pressure water, a scrub brush (no soap) and shop vac. That method does require a hot sun to dry out the floor, which we haven't seen too much here in WI as of late!

Old thread but HOLY BALLZ I just had a gallon of Malco Leather and Plastic cleaner delivered to my shop for $17 a gallon. Went out and sprayed it on my leather truck seats. I thought I bleached them till I saw that was the color they are suppose to be. My boat is gonna shine like the sun after this weekend. Best product I bought in a long time.
