Can you buy a new GT40?

I saw a 1997 Ski that needed a new engine and wanted to know if you can order the new engine or not? The block is cracked.

No, you would have to get real lucky to find a complete new one. It not hard to get a rebuilt block though to fix that problem.

Well here is what I did......

I bought a Nautique with a blown up motor. Then I bought a reman motor off ebay from a company in florida where they offered a 1 year warranty I believe I paid 1600 for it Shipped. This was a marine GT40. I told them what the application was and they said no problem. They even made sure I had the correct heads on the motor I recieved. There was no core return needed either. I have had no issues from the motor just stupid little things from my boat had nothing to do with the engine.
