    2006 211 Dash Board Removal Question

    How do you remove the dash board to replace a gauge (perfect pass), boat is 90 miles away so I can't crawl around on it and figure it out now. the boat is a 2006 211. thanks

    Does it look like this?

    If so two screws on the top surface by windshield and one on each corner near the bottom edge. Then just pulls off
    Do the right thing.......

        Don't forget to take the steering wheel off first.

          Good point. I'm assuming there is a nut under the cap in center of steering wheel.

            Likely 6 to 8 Allen head bolts. Bring an Allen wrench set with you.

              Was able to tilt my wheel down enough to get to the gauges if you want. But very easy to get the wheel off as well.
              Do the right thing.......

                ... and easier to work on with the pod off completely. Once you get the wheel off, it is probably just a few harnesses to detach unless there is a bunch of custom stuff in there.
