1995 EFI Throttle Body Issue

I have a 1995 Ski Nautique (425 hours on it now but bought it new) with the 351 PCM EFI engine. I've had a couple instances where I run for a couple hours then sit for an hour or so. When I go to restart, the engine cranks, then acts like it chokes and stops. I can try to re-crank it, but all it does is spin the engine....failing to fire. I had originally thought it was out of gas (have added a couple gallons and then had it to start in the past) but since then have found the tank to be almost full. I'm not sure if it's a venting issue or possibly a fuel pump problem. Has anyone experienced this issue?? And if so, what are my options?
