We were out over July 4th weekend and my boat died for no apparent reason. I was running the battery switch on 1 vs 1&2. I normally run it on 1&2 unless I'm anchor listening to music. In this case I forgot to switch it back. After it died, I switched it to 1&2 and it started right up. I just installed 2 new Stinger batteries at the beginning of the season. I'm guessing the switch may be bad and the battery was not getting charged. Once I switched to 1&2 all was fine. Thoughts?

You really shouldn't run the boat on 1 & 2. It's best to switch every time you go out. This week on 1, next time on 2. The back up needs to be saved in case you do have a problem. That's what saved you this time from being stranded. I also turn mine off every time the boat is stored. Seems like I've read that you would lose stereo stations, etc, but on my 2011 210 they remain saved. This was also the case on my previous Centurion w/Sony stereo.
