New interior in my SN - need suggestions on dehumidifiers, ventilation or both

I've been updating my 1985 SN 2001 over the past year, including new carpeting and am in the process of getting the vinyl replaced in the next 2 weeks. I picked up the new boat cover yesterday which includes a vent. The boat is located in the humid panhandle of FL. I had hellacious problems with mildew in my old boat, but I didn't do anything to prevent it either. Question is, what are some good suggestions for dehumidifiers, ventilation fans, or both?

And a pic with the new cover (excuse the trailer, that's next):

You want a decent one, but one of the smaller pint sizes. Dont bother with ventilation fans, just get a dehumidifier.

I had a click look through this site: Dehumidifiers for Home and found this one by NewAir: http://dehumidifiersfor-home.com/2011/06/21/751/

And to quote what someone said about it:

"We bought this dehumidifier for our sailboat which we keep in the water all year round, and which consequently has serious condensation issues in the winter. This is the most compact unit I've ever seen and has a well-designed look and solid feel. Importantly, though, it really does the job effectively, wringing a lot of water from the air and preventing mold and mildew. It generates some heat as well which contributes to making the cabin cozy, dry and warm. Once the weather is mild enough to open the hatches, the unit is no longer necessary and is stored off the boat. "

Sounds like could be a pretty good bet.

I have used a dehumidifier for the last couple of years. It is far better than a fan at keeping the boat dry. I believe the brand I have is soleus. I bought it on amazon. My recommendation would be to get the smallest one you can that has an optional hose drip line, that way you can route it into the bilge and not have to empty the tank everyday.
